The Summit: Reaching the peak before sunrise offers a magical view of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and the ocean below.
Segara Anak Lake: A beautiful crater lake nestled deep in the caldera, surrounded by cliffs and overlooked by the active volcano, Mount Barujari.
Natural Hot Springs: Perfect for relaxing tired muscles after a long day of trekking.
Diverse Landscapes: From the rainforest of Senaru to the open grasslands of Sembalun, every trail offers something unique.
There are two main routes to climb Mount Rinjani:
Sembalun Route: Ideal for those aiming to reach the summit. The trail begins in Sembalun village and ascends gradually through wide savanna before the steep final push.
Senaru Route: Known for its forest scenery and waterfall views, this route is popular for trekkers heading to the crater rim or the lake.
Many adventurers choose the 3 days 2 nights trek, starting from Senaru or Sembalun, reaching the summit and lake, and finishing on the opposite side.
